At UXCam, we automatically capture technical issues of your users: crashes and UI Freezes that indicate when the app is frozen or stuck during the user interaction. You can find these issues by using filters in the Session list - you can read more about it here.
However, if you want to learn more about the health and performance of your app, Issue Analytics can help you significantly. First of all, you need to decide if you want to focus analyze crashes or UI Freezes and go to the proper section:
After doing so, you can check the basic statistics about issues happening in your app. You will see how many crashes or UI Freezes occurred in your app, how many users and sessions were affected by them and what’s the percentage of sessions without any issues.
You can also check trends to understand if the number of issues is increasing or decreasing over time and verify- which app versions, OS versions or devices are the most problematic ones. It will help you not only identify the issues but also prioritize, debug and deliver solutions faster.
» Crash types
By checking “Crash types”, you can see the list of crashes with details such as reason, occurrences, affected users and platform.
» UI Freezes
If you go to “UI Freezes”, you will find all the types of freezes with information such as average or maximum freeze duration:
Learn more about the issues
To dig deeper into any issue, you can click on it in order to find the crash/UI Freeze log, check the specific statistics about this issue and see the list of sessions including this issue.
This will give you a better understanding on how this issue happened and insights on the steps to replicate it, so you can debug and fix it faster. What’s more, you can also click on the user to understand how this user’s behavior was affected by the technical problem.
