Tips for good results
Start with "Which UXCam apps do I have access to?" Then name the app in your questions. If you have several apps, this avoids the assistant guessing.
Let the assistant look up real names before filtering. Ask it to find your actual screen and event names first ("What screens exist in the checkout flow?"). Guessed names like "Checkout" may not match what's tracked, like CheckoutViewController.
Give a date range. Most tools default to the last 30 days. Say "last 90 days" or "since 1 March" when you need more.
Ask for a comparison. "This month vs last month" or "iOS vs Android" usually gives a more useful answer than a single number.
Go from numbers to evidence. After a funnel or metric, ask "Show me sessions from users who dropped off at that step."
Check data quality when numbers look off. Ask "Are we losing any sessions?" before drawing conclusions from a sudden drop.
Ask the assistant to show its work. Ask which filters, dates and definitions it used, so you can check the result or reproduce it in the UXCam dashboard.

What the UXCam MCP does not do
It can't change anything. It doesn't create, edit or delete apps, projects, settings, dashboards or reports.
It doesn't send data to UXCam. To record sessions and events, use the UXCam SDK.
It doesn't watch session replays. It can find and describe sessions, but it doesn't play or analyze the video.
It isn't Tara. Your own assistant does the reasoning using your UXCam data. For Tara's analysis, use Tara inside UXCam.
Plain-language session search needs AI session summaries, and only covers sessions that have been summarized.
