UXCam offers flexible pricing plans which depend primarily on the number of monthly sessions you need. The best practice is to capture 100% of user recordings in order to get the full value out of UXCam and never miss out on any crucial insight, bug, or crash.
You can then search and filter sessions by different parameters — events, device types, platforms, user properties, and beyond.

How can I estimate how many monthly sessions I need?
If you're uncertain about how many sessions you need on your plan, you can follow these tips to estimate your session volume.
1. Based on another tool: If you are using any analytical or tracking tool, you can check out your monthly sessions and use that as an estimate of the number of sessions you need on UXCam. In order to hedge for seasonality or any other factors that might impact your session volume, we recommend adding an additional 5%.
2. Sessions per user: You can take the number of active users as a base and calculate on average how many sessions per month they might have.
If you know the frequency of usage, or you have a target for the number of sessions per user, you can use those as a base. E.g. I expect my users to open my app 5 times per day.
You can also calculate it based on industry benchmarks. To help you figure it out we have analyzed our database to calculate the average sessions per user for each industry. Please keep in mind that this remains an estimation based on a large number of companies, but it’s a good starting point.
Just take the number of active users per month using your app, and multiply it by the avg. number of sessions per user based on your industry.
Industry | COMPUTER_SOFTWARE | IT & Services | Financial Services | Retail | Marketing & Adv. |
Average sessions per user | 14 | 28 | 10 | 14 | 10 |
Please keep in mind that if you’re not certain or you miscalculated the number of sessions, you can increase it at any time.
